Production
Production refers to the process of manufacturing products from raw materials or semi-finished goods using routings and bills of materials. It is a Business Central process used to control complex productions across multiple work steps and work centers.
Production in SIEVERS WMS
SIEVERS WMS extends the standard production process with two core functions: automated material supply for production via move jobs and traceability of warehouse movements through inventory entries and item tracking.
Production requirements are mapped as move job lines, which are processed by warehouse employees on MDE devices (A3 Item Transfer) or alternatively with printed documents. Consumption and output postings are made centrally in the Production Journal.

Process Variants
Production in SIEVERS WMS is divided into the following processes:

| Production Master Data | Setup of all required master data: posting matrix, production setup, journal templates, strategies | During initial setup or expansion of the production environment |
