SWMS Storage Place Card

The Storage Place card shows the properties of the place selected in the storage place overview. You can also print storage place labels here. The dimensions of the storage place are taken from the assigned category and are automatically updated when the category changes.

  • Transfer Location Code: Can only be filled in if the fields Automatic Item Transfer Jnl. Batch Name and Automatic Item Transfer Jnl. Template Name in the SIEVERS WMS setup are filled in. If a location is entered here, stock will be automatically transferred to the configured transfer location/storage place when depositing to this storage place. This applies to both move jobs and inbound stock posts.

Occupancy

  • Occupancy: Indicates the current occupancy status of the storage place. The value is set automatically during each storage place update:
    • Free: No inventory has been posted to this storage place and no storage places are reserved.
    • Occupied: At least one storage place is occupied or reserved, but there are still free places available.
    • Full: All storage places are occupied or reserved (no free places remaining).
  • Storage without storage unit: When this field is active, an SU deposited to this storage place via a move job or inbound stock post is automatically dissolved. The inventory is posted directly to the storage place without a load carrier. STU, PTU and SSCC are not dissolved. Inventories with identical characteristics (item, variant, lot, sell-by date) are automatically merged. The field can also be set via the storage place category.
  • Storing various inventories not allowed: Prevents the deposit of inventories with different inventory characteristics to this storage place. Set automatically when Storage without storage unit is active.

  • Current Rack Compartment Max. Units: Maximum permissible number of load carriers in the rack compartment.
  • Number of LC on Rack Comp.: Current number of load carriers on the storage places of the rack compartment.
  • Compartment Load ACTUAL [kg]: Total weight of all load carriers on the storage places of the rack compartment.

  • Available Bay Load [kg]: Maximum bay load minus bay load actual.
  • Rack Compartment Occupancy: Occupancy status of the rack compartment (Free / Occupied / Full).
  • Rack Bay Occupancy: Occupancy status of the rack bay (Free / Occupied / Full).
