SSCC Internal Transports
Transport using a Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) enables complete traceability of goods movements within the warehouse.
Purpose
SSCC-supported internal transports enable improved transport control and facilitate the consolidation of goods on shipping places. By structuring according to warehouse shipment, order, customer, ship-to country, date, and shipping agent, shipping buffer places can be stocked in a targeted manner.
Process Flow
Log in to MDE and navigate
- Open A2 Internal Transports → select team.
Scan SSCC and transport
- Scan the SSCC label → ignore place → enter SSCC abbreviation N = transport to shipping buffer place.
Posting and completion
- Automatic documentation of the movement and update of inventory.
