Weekday Priorities
The priority of a warehouse shipment controls the working sequence in mobile picking dialogs as well as on printed picking documents and packaging processes. A lower number means a higher priority. On the Weekday Priorities page, you define the base value for the priority calculation.
The overall priority consists of two components:
- Weekday partial value (first part): The value for the weekday of the first loading date, entered in Weekday Priorities (value 0–99).
- Shipping agent partial value (second part): The priority value stored at the shipping agent (value 0–99).
Picking documents and packaging processes are sorted first by the first loading day/week and then by priority. In mobile dialogs, this sorting is applied automatically. On printed documents, the priority serves as a guide for manual sorting, for example in an order slot.
The priority is calculated automatically when the warehouse shipment is created and is entered at the order level. If the loading date or shipping agent changes on the warehouse shipment, the priority is automatically recalculated. A manual change of the priority at order level in Warehouse Shipment Planning is possible at any time. If a priority is manually set to a lower value, the priority at the warehouse shipment level is adjusted accordingly.
Hinweis
If you enter a fixed priority in the warehouse shipment automation setup, this value is used instead of the calculated priority from weekday and shipping agent. Leave the field empty or enter 0 to use the standard calculation.
