GS1 WR Stationary
The stationary GS1 warehouse receipt uses fixed scanner stations for rapid recording of goods using standardized GS1 codes.
Purpose
The stationary GS1 warehouse receipt enables more efficient processing of warehouse receipts through the use of GS1-compliant labels. This can significantly reduce the time spent in warehouse receipt. GS1 barcodes can also be processed in the warehouse receipt. If data is not encoded, it can be entered manually.

- The GS1 warehouse receipt is an alternative to processing with DESADV (electronic delivery advice).
- In EDI environments, DESADV is more advantageous since data has already been transmitted electronically.
- With the GS1 warehouse receipt, no additional assignments need to be created since these are known before the goods arrive.
- The GS1 warehouse receipt is particularly effective when labels are created exactly according to GS1 guidelines.
