SNC Order Type Categories

Order Types are defined in more detail on this page. They are used to allow SIEVERS WMS teams to only process orders of certain sizes.

Multiple parameter entries can be stored for each order type. If entries compete with each other or multiple entries apply to a released order, the Valuation Factor decides: the entry with the higher value takes precedence.

Example of an order type category setup

  • Code
  • Parameter: Specifies which threshold value is to be used:
    • Number of Positions
    • Value
    • Volume
    • Weight
    • Complete units
    • Total quantity of positions
  • Minimum value: Defines the minimum height of the threshold value
  • Parameter Unit: Displays the unit matching the parameter from the base unit of measure list

The order types are evaluated in two steps:

  1. Determination of the order type per parameter. Valuation by position in the list
  2. Valuation of the item by multiplication with the valuation factor
