SNC Order Type Categories

Order Types are defined in more detail on this page. They are used to allow SIEVERS WMS teams to only progress orders of certain sizes.

Example of an order type category setup

  • Code
  • Parameter: Specifies which threshold value is to be used:
    • Number of Positions
    • Value
    • Volume
    • Weight
    • Complete units
    • Total quantity of positions
  • Minimum value: Defines the minimum height of the threshold value
  • Parameter Unit: Displays the unit matching the parameter from the base unit of measure list

  • Valuation factor: Valuation of the order type

The order types are evaluated in two steps:

  1. Determination of the order type per parameter. Valuation by position in the list
  2. Valuation of the item by multiplication with the valuation factor
