Scales
The Scales page manages IoT devices (in particular weighing systems) connected to SIEVERS WMS via the SIEVERS Gateway / Connector. The page provides an overview of all configured devices and their current operating status.
The following fields are available per entry:
- Name: Unique name of the device (e.g., "IFC30K3 Weighing System 01-Showroom")
- Connection Type: Defines how the device is integrated in the network (e.g., WLAN).
- Communication Protocol: Defines the communication protocol used by the device (e.g., KCP).
- IP: Unique connection to the intermediate layer (address or other unique identifier).
- Status: Shows whether the device is Online or Offline. The status is provided by the SIEVERS Gateway / Connector.
The connection between the device and SIEVERS WMS runs through the SIEVERS Gateway / Connector. The Connector handles communication with the device using the respective protocol (e.g., KCP for KERN scales), monitors the heartbeat of the device, and forwards the status to SIEVERS WMS.
