Service Module
SIEVERS WMS supports the Business Central Service module and enables warehouse logistics for service cases. Whether required parts are consumed internally or shipped externally via a warehouse shipment is controlled directly on the service order.
SWMS Service Handling
The field SWMS Service Handling appears in the header of a service order as soon as the specified warehouse location is managed by SIEVERS WMS (the Directed Put-away and Pick flag on the location).
- SWMS Service Handling: Controls which warehouse and BC documents are created for the service lines.
- blank: No SWMS service handling active. The service order is processed as in the BC standard.
- Internal Service: Parts are picked at the mobile device and posted via a consumption journal. The process is analogous to assembly.

The SWMS Service Handling field can no longer be changed once a stock document has been created for the service order.
The following actions for the stock document are available on the service order:
- Create Stock Document Components: Creates an outbound stock document for the service items needed as components.
- Open Stock Document Components: Opens the outbound stock document for the service components.
- Delete Stock Document Components: Deletes the outbound stock document for the service components.
Supply Status and Quantity Fields
Additional fields are available in service orders and service lines to monitor parts supply.
Fields in Service Lines
The following fields are displayed after the Quantity field:
- Qty. in Stock Documents: Quantity that is already included in an outbound stock document.
- Qty. Picked: Quantity that has already been picked by the warehouse worker.
- Picking Status: Lowest picking status across all related picking documents (e.g., created, printed, released).
Field in the Service Order Header
The field Supply Status Service Lines summarizes the picking status of all service lines. The field is color-coded:
- Red: At least one position still needs to be released or printed.
- Yellow: Released for picking.
- Green: All positions are picked.
