Service Module
SIEVERS WMS supports the Business Central Service module and enables warehouse logistics for service cases. Whether required parts are consumed internally or shipped externally via a warehouse shipment is controlled directly on the service order.
SWMS Service Handling
The field SWMS Service Handling appears in the header of a service order as soon as the specified warehouse location is managed by SIEVERS WMS (the Directed Put-away and Pick flag on the location).
- SWMS Service Handling: Controls which warehouse and BC documents are created for the service lines.
- blank: No SWMS service handling active. The service order is processed as in the BC standard.
- Internal Service: Parts are picked at the mobile device and posted via a consumption journal. The process is analogous to assembly.
The following actions for the stock document are available on the service order:
- Create Stock Document Components: Creates an outbound stock document for the service items needed as components.
- Open Stock Document Components: Opens the outbound stock document for the service components.
- Delete Stock Document Components: Deletes the outbound stock document for the service components.
